STIX - 4 Probe Weld Scanner
Surprisingly simple, yet extremely capable, this manual, magnetic scanner delivers encoded probe positioning for up to four (2 TOFD and 2 Phased Array) probes. The STIX - 4 Probe Weld Scanner uses a spring-loaded encoder and magnetic wheels to offer a simple, functional scanner which requires minimal adjustment between scan setups.

FEATURES
STIX FRAME
The STIX frame includes convenient handles for scanner handling as well as mounting points for accessories.
SPRING-LOADED ENCODER
A spring-loaded encoder ensures accurate scanner positioning. The 5V DC TTL encoder is fully compatible with all standard instruments.
BRAKES
Brakes are provided to lock the location of the scanner in a required position.
MAGNETIC WHEELS
The magnetic wheels are coated with urethane to reduce the effects of foreign debris obstructing the rolling of the scanner. To further increase the flexibility of the system, the wheels are also stackable to increase the magnetic attraction when required.

COMPONENT IDENTIFICATION
STIX FRAME
Build with custom frame bar lengths, the wheel blocks of the STIX frame offer mounting points for accessories and the magnetic wheels.

Precise encoder tracks scanner position on the scan surface.
TOFD SLIP JOINT PROBE HOLDER
An adjustable probe holder which is designed to accommodate standard TOFD probes and wedges.
